Java Factory made a new flavor every week, and made every one findable
A specialty coffee roaster launching 52 new flavored coffees a year. We built the system that turns every launch into a page that ranks, instead of a product that disappears after a week.
Java Factory's weekly flavor program is a brilliant retention engine: customers vote, new flavors drop every week, and retired flavors go to the Flavor Graveyard. For search it was chaos. Every new flavor launched as a thin page, retired flavors left dead URLs behind, and the brand's most loyal fans were the only ones who ever found the launches. We built a launch system where every flavor page ships search-ready, retired flavors keep their value, and the program itself ranks. Non-brand organic clicks grew 209 percent and organic revenue 152 percent.
A product calendar that worked against search.
A new flavor every week sounds like a content machine. In practice each launch got a name, a photo, and a price, and went live with nothing for Google to rank. A week later the next flavor took the spotlight. When flavors retired, their pages were unpublished, turning any links and rankings they had earned into 404s.
The brand's distinctive story, the weekly drops, the voting, the leaderboard, existed only on social and in emails. Searchers looking for unusual flavored coffee, dessert coffees, or coffee gifts never encountered it.
Turn the launch calendar into a ranking engine
We built a repeatable launch template so every new flavor ships with tasting notes, ingredients, brewing tips, and FAQ content on day one. Retired flavors stay live as archive pages that point to similar flavors still on sale. And the weekly program got its own hub, so the story that customers love became something search engines and AI answers could find.
