A patient engagement platform tied organic to revenue
Regulated content that ranked, converted, and reported dollars. We connected search to the number the board cares about.
The platform helps clinics book, remind, and re-engage patients, and its marketing team was publishing plenty of compliance-safe content. The problem was that none of it was structured to rank, the demo funnel leaked visitors, and leadership could see sessions in analytics but no line back to revenue. Over nine months we built content clusters that ranked, rebuilt the demo funnel so those visitors converted, and wired search data to the CRM so every query carried a dollar value. Organic revenue grew 206 percent and became a line the board could read.
Traffic that never proved its worth.
The platform helps clinics book, remind, and re-engage patients. Marketing published compliance-safe content, but it lived as scattered one-off posts with no cluster structure, weak internal links, and demo forms that leaked visitors. Leadership saw sessions in analytics and no line back to pipeline or revenue, which made it impossible to argue for more investment in the channel.
The gap ran the length of the funnel. Content ranked inconsistently because posts competed with each other and pointed nowhere, so authority never concentrated on the pages that mattered. Visitors who did reach a demo page met a long, generic form with no trust signals and abandoned it at a 0.9 percent conversion rate. And because Search Console was never connected to the CRM, no one could say which topics produced booked demos, let alone revenue. Organic looked like a cost center rather than a channel.
Build clusters that rank, then make them convert
We rebuilt the channel end to end, in the order the funnel actually works. First, content clusters to concentrate authority and rank for the topics buyers search. Then a conversion redesign so the traffic those clusters earned did not leak out of a broken demo funnel. Finally, an attribution layer that tied Search Console and conversion data to the CRM, so every query and page reported the dollars it produced, not just the clicks.
The work, month by month
The same plan, laid out on the calendar it actually ran on.
Cluster architecture
Mapped the three pillar topics, consolidated orphaned posts, and set the internal link structure so authority concentrated on the hubs.
Content build
Shipped legal-reviewed hub pages and spoke articles on scheduling, no-show reduction, and recall, all structured to rank and to feed the demo funnel.
Conversion redesign
Rebuilt the demo pages, shortened the forms, and added trust signals, lifting conversion from 0.9 percent toward 3.1 percent.
Attribution and scale
Wired GSC to the CRM, reported revenue per cluster, and doubled down on the topics that produced the most booked demos.
Revenue compounded once clusters and conversion aligned
Monthly organic-attributed revenue over the nine-month engagement, indexed to the starting baseline.
Where the CRO work closed the leaks
How the demo funnel converts today, from organic session to booked demo, after the redesign.
Percentages are stage-to-stage progression through the funnel, measured after the month-four conversion redesign.
Organic became a reportable revenue line
Nine months in, organic was no longer a set of sessions no one could account for. The clusters ranked, the redesigned funnel converted the traffic they earned, and the attribution layer reported it all in dollars the board could read. Organic revenue grew 206 percent, demo conversion more than tripled, and marketing could finally point to the topics producing pipeline.
